After the success of their 2009 collaboration album “Blow”, which sold an impressive 10,000 albums in 7 months and peaked at #31 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart, the two only thought it right to release another follow up classic. “Blow-Blocks & Boat Docks,” features Brisco (of Cash Money), Yukmouth, The Jacka, B-Legit, Lee Majors, RnB singer Matt Blaque and more.

Fans will also be surprised to hear San Francisco rapper & and local Hip-Hop hero San Quinn on the record, considering Quinn and Messy had a controversial dispute that lead to some reciprocating dis-tracks. None the less Berner knew he needed the two to come together, something no one else has been able to do, in order to complete this explosive album. Berner achieves a hard-hitting line up of local Bay Area Rap heroes and major West Coast luminaries featured on raw gritty beats.
Berner’s desire to team with Messy Marv stems from his respect for the Fillmore District rap legend who himself boasts an impressive resume selling thousands of albums independently, the most critically acclaimed being his collaboration with San Quinn which moved 50,000 units in 97. Berner has a talent for rapping and putting together some of the rawest records, thoughtfully hand picking only the best beats and best artists in the rap game to work with. “Blow-Blocks & Boat Docks” is no different and tells of real life experiences of bi-coastal hustling, rising above the haters and the inner turmoil of choosing weather to or not heed to life’s warnings of fast living.
