Apakalips and DJ Icewater unite to bring you; The Definition. Full of classic beats from the early, mid, and late '90's, from albums of artists such as Nas, Notorious B.I.G., Black Star, and Tha Alkaholiks, along with some current well known beats from the artists such as Jay Z, Black Milk and DJ Zeph and Azeem. This mixtape also features production from up and coming producers Doobie Doobz, Malcolm Lee, and Vino Beats. Along with the stellar production, there are lyrical features from teenage phenoms Ace, JC, and San Jose emcees Priceless, Dem One, Loko and vocal feature from Sherri.
This mixtape focuses on bridging past with future classics, paying homage to the era and years of some of Hip-Hop's most notable production as Apakalips' shows his versatility and wide range of delivery over different production styles, all while DJ Icewater keeps the tempo consistent and delivers creative mixing, blending and scratches over the entire project.
